The Captain: Captain Darrel holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters license and was first licensed in 1985. First starting charted fishing offshore and later moving to inshore fishing preferring the spontaneity and diversity it offers. He is a native of the area and knows the waters, fishing grounds, and habits of the species of fish that are plentiful in the area, and has written numerous articles on fishing. He also has experience piloting boats up to 140 feet from waters of Louisiana to the Bahamas. Safety is priority one with Captain Darrel, and being the father of two, is “kid friendly” and welcomes families.
The Boat: A 20 foot Sea Craft center console with a 175 horsepower Yamaha outboard making for a fast, dry, and safe day of fishing. It is also equipped with a tower giving the Captain an extra advantage spotting fish on the flats, fish schooling on the beaches, or cobia running the beach in the spring.
Capt. Darrel’s’ inshore fishing charters to the back bays and back waters of Perdido Key, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, Pensacola Bay, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, Perdido Bay, and Pensacola Naval Air Station. Catch speckled trout, red fish, flounder, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, shark, king mackerel, sheep head and more.
